Wondering where to watch the Super Wolf Blood Moon in India?

Where to watch the Super Wolf Blood Moon?

The Super Wolf Blood Moon on January 20 is the first Lunar Eclipse of 2019, and is a much-awaited celestial event. While the phenomenon is creating quite a buzz across the world, the event will skip the country. Yes, you cannot watch the Super Wolf Blood Moon in India this time; your best bet to watch it is to tune into a live stream of the event. So yes, there is no need to stay disappointed.

1. The term ‘Super Wolf Blood Moon’ refers to Total Lunar Eclipse, though it sounds more from a 60s rock show!

2. During this Lunar Eclipse 2019, the moon takes a rusty-red tinge, hence the name ‘Blood Moon’.

3. It is also hailed as ‘Wolf’ Blood Moon as Native Americans used to refer to it as the same for a Full Moon in January.

4. Since it is a ‘Supermoon’, the moon will be closest to Earth during the celestial event and will appear bigger than any other night.

5. While a year can have 5-6 ‘Supermoons’, ‘Blood Moons’ occur in a gap that can be anywhere between six months to three years.

6. The next Total Lunar Eclipse will not happen till 2021, so do not miss the Super Wolf Blood Moon on January 2o.

The Super Wolf Blood Moon or the total Lunar Eclipse 2019 will not be visible from any place in India. This celestial event will be visible from North and South America, West Africa, Alaska’s Aleutian Island, Western Europe. Some parts of EuropeAfrica and Asia will also be privy to this event.
